			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><b>Summary</b></p>
<p>The most previous researches for kinematic analysis of human movement is through the us of film, simple video observation , using motion capture techniques (optical and magnetic systems). The problem is these are not suitable for day-to-day, continuous joint monitoring.</p>
<p>The new approach is a technique that uses conductive fibers as part of a wearable sensor for continuous monitoring. It works in terms of resistance changes in the fibers caused by skin extension can be measured. It only focuses on a single-axis joint model for simplified problem. It uses Kalman filter to estimate joint angle with misalignment errors so that only a one-time calibration is all that is needed for everyday use.</p>
<p>The fibers are produced by embedding tiny particles of electrically conductive carbon powder into the surface of a nylon fiber.</p>
<p>Assumption</p>
<p>- the fabric is form fitting to the skin. (35~40 percent stretchable fabric is required)</p>
<p>- the fabric has the necessary elastic properties.</p>
<p>Issues</p>
<p>- depends on skin&#8217;s movement</p>
<p>- depends on the muscle movement</p>
<p>- only focus on joint angle but not all axis (x, y, and specially z)</p>

Also, with the Microsoft Fonts installed we browsing will be better since the pages will look as the designer originally intended them to. Most webpages are designed with Microsoft fonts in mind. The stylesheet specify these fonts. On Linux, when these specified fonts are not available on your computer, they are replaced with generic equivalents. With these fonts installed, you will see the page as it was designed. To install the fonts, all you need to do in Ubuntu is to install the <b>msttcorefonts</b> package. Instructions for installation are given below.The Truetype Microsoft fonts provided by the package include:</p>

<h4>Installing Microsoft Truetype fonts on Ubuntu</h4>
<p>You can install the MS core fonts by installing the <b>msttcorefonts</b> package. To do this, <a href="https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AddingRepositoriesHowto">enable the “Universe” component of the repositories</a>. This is done by default in Feisty. After you do that, use the following command from the command line:</p>
<p><code>$sudo apt-get install msttcorefonts</code></p>
<p>This will give you the core fonts, but if there are other TrueType fonts that you want installed, it is as easy as copying the font files to the <i>~/.fonts/</i> directory.</p>
<p>After installing new fonts, you will have to log out and log in again to be able to see and use the new fonts. If you want to avoid this, you can regenerate the fonts cache by issuing the following command:<br />

<p><!-- google_ad_section_start --> 				<!-- sphereit start -->소규모 조직일 경우. 특히나 각자의 업무가 다방면에 다양한 능력을 요구할때 철저한 관리가 되지 않으며 중구난방식으로 흐지부지되는 경우가 발생한다. 그리하여 나름의 체계적이고 손쉬운 계속적인 유지보수를 위하여 나름의 방법을 정리하여 본다.</p>
<p><b><u>문서관리</u></b></p>
<p>일반적으로 MS Office, Mediawiki 두가지를 사용하며, 이따금씩 Google Docs, Springnote를 사용하곤 한다. 허나, 이는 문서가 분산화되어 정작 필요로 하는 자료를 찾는 번거로움은 물론, 계속적인 유지보수를 요구하는 경우, 상당한 불편함을 갖게 된다. 그리하여, 외부 공개문서의 경우는 MS Office군으로 통합적으로 작성하되, Pdf Export 시켜, Plaform에 상관없이 문서 확인이 가능토록 한다. 또한, 사적인 문서와 내부 문서의 경우는 내부 Wiki를 이용하여, 통합적으로 문서 관리 및 생성을 할 수 있도록 한다. 허나, Spreadsheet, Presentation 문서의 경우는 파일명_버전.확장자 형식으로 문서를 유지보수하며, 해당 데스크탑은 Google Desktop을 통하여 일괄적으로 문서를 통합 검색할 수 있도록 한다.</p>
<p>Google Dekstop의 경우 외부PC에서도 검색 결과를 확인할 수 있도록 설정하여 사용하며, 참으로 편리한다.</p>
<p><b><u>소스관리</u></b></p>
<p>Issue Tracking System은 Mantis 혹은 Trac을 통하여 해결하려 한다. 프로젝트 참여자들의 보다 편리한 문서관리를 위하여, wiki를 활용하려 하지만, Trac은 Mediawiki에 비해 상대적으로 강력하지 못함과, Mantis+Dokuwiki의 경우 유지보수의 귀차니즘으로 인하여, 아마도 Trac + Mediawiki로 각각의 용도의 충실하여 활용하지 않을까 한다.</p>
<p>요 몇일동안의 소스의 통합관리와 요구사항의 해결상황은 인지할 수 없는 현 상황에서 개별 단독 서버 구축을 통하여 통합적으로 소스, 문서 관리가 절실히 필요로 함을 느끼었다. 또한, 계속적인 업무 활동을 위해서라도, 이번주내에는 통합적으로 인가된 사용자만이 접근 가능한 폐쇄적 Extranet 구축을 하여야 할것 이다. 기반 솔루션의 경우에는 오픈소스를 적극 활용하여 해보자.</p>
<p><b><u>의사소통</u></b></p>
<p>내외부적으로 많은 의사소통이 이루어짐으로서, 보통 PC에 메신저를 4~5개를 항시 띄어놓고 있으며, 각각의 대화 기록은 PC에 저장하여 일괄적으로 유지보수가 이루어지고 있다. 물론, Google Talk의 경우에는 Gmail 연동으로 채팅기록의 유지보수가 사실상 필요 없으나, 나머지 항목에 대해서, 자동적으로 백업서버에 Sync 시킬 수 있는 소프트웨어를 찾아보아야 할것이다. 둘러보니, 몇몇 괜찮은 프로그램들이 있으나, 상용버전이라는거.. 흠</p>
<p>실상 실시간으로 어떤 대화를 나눌 필요는 없을것 같다. 아무래도, 실시간으로 대화를 나누는 시간을 줄이고, Email 교환을 통하여 보다 정리된 의견사항을 교환하여야 하겠다.</p>
<p>일반 게시판 혹은 포럼을 잠시동안 운영하였지만, 운영자인 나 조차도 익숙치 않음은 물론이거니와 일분 일초를 다투는 심리적으로 급박한 상황에서 답변을 기다리기 위해 시간을 보내는게 익숙치는 않다. 좀더 효율적인 운영 방안을 위하여, Email을 통하여 체계적인 의사소통과 wiki를 통한 모든 기록의 DB화.</p>

<p>결국에 답은 Mantis 혹은 Trac. Moniwiki 혹은 Mediawiki. 오래전 프로젝트에서 사용되었던 ERP, CMS 솔루션을 개량해볼까도 했지만, 이 또한 시간낭비. 우선 요즘 유행하는 Trac + Mediawiki에 마음이 쏠리긴 하지만… 나름 목적도 좋은 방향이지만, 글쎄… 팀원들 교육을 해야 한다는 큰 문제점이 있다.</p>
<p>참여자들의 적극적인 참여가 없다며, 아무리 좋은 도구를 가져다 논들 말짱.. 황이다. ㅠ_ㅠ</p>
<p>그간의 업무 프로세스는 나의 배려라고 생각해준 팀원들께 감사하며, 앞으로는 철저히 나의 의견과 방향대로 따라줄것을 강력히 요청하였더니, 한번에 먹혔다. 흠… 처음부터 이렇게 하였다면, 이번일처럼… 서로 이해관계가 얽히는 불상사는 없었을터..</p>

<p>ps. P2P 를 통하여, 1주일간 약 50gb의 eBook을 모았다. 평생 죽을때까지 다 볼 수도 없는 양이지만, Google Desktop의 친절한 검색 결과는 필요에 따른 다양한 함수, 혹은 문서를 찾아주니…. 추후 버리는 PC가 있다면 이를 활용하여, 내부적으로 활용해도 좋을 듯 싶다. 이미 특정 업체에서는 특정 PC에 Google Desktop을 설치하여 각자의 업무를 서로 공유한다 하는데, 하긴 옵션 많은 엉뚱한 소프트웨어보다는 그리 하는게 더 편리할 듯.ps2. WSAD, RAD등을 활용하려 지인들께 여러 요청을 보내었고, 받은 답변은… 배보다 배꼽이 크다. 물론 비용적인 측면에서도 천문학적인 금액이 소요되는 점도 있으나, 글쎄… Commit 한번을 위해, 적개는 3~5단계 많게는 수십단계의 절차를 거치는 것은 내 스타일이 아니다. 보다 단순하고 깊이있는 관리 시스템…. ㅠ_ㅠ</p>
<p>ps3. 기획작업에 있어서 내 의도를 개발자에게 전달함에 있어서, 각 국가별로 상당히 상이한 모습을 보인다. 한국의 경우 일반적으로 MS Office군을 사용하여 PPT, Excel, Word문서로 하지만, 이는 상당히 비효율적이다 못해. 생산성은 최악을 달리는 경우를 보인다. 이를 해결 하기 위한 방안으로 다양한 방안을 찾고 있으나, 역시.. Agile 방법론이 가장 적절한듯 싶기도 하고… 도구보다는 생각. 철학이 업무의 생산성을 극대화 시킬 수 있는 최상의 방안인건가…. ㅡ_ㅡ</p>

<p>The<br />
Sony Vaio FS range of laptops are good machines. Trouble is, the Fn key<br />
combinations require software drivers to work and &#8211; guess what? &#8211; Sony<br />
has only developed ones for Windows. There are a number of howtos<br />
floating around the internet for getting these keys working under Linux<br />
but they vary in detail and different distros have different<br />
requirements. I haven&#8217;t been able to find one for PCLinuxOS so I&#8217;ve<br />
adapted a Fedora one. The method below works on my VGN-FS215B model and<br />
it should work on all the FS series. It may work on other Sony laptops<br />
- I really don&#8217;t know. I believe Sony has implemented different ways of<br />
driving the function key combinations on different model ranges. Your<br />
mileage may vary and I give no guarantees.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m using PCLinuxOS 2007 Test Release 2. It should work in the 0.93 version as well.</p>
<p>Please<br />
note that I am not a programmer or developer &#8211; I am merely a reasonably<br />
competent Linux user. I offer what works for me but you follow this<br />
howto at your own risk. If you manage to break your system I will take<br />
no responsibilty.</p>
<p>Also, take care if you find another source for<br />
the sony_acpi and fsfn tarballs. There are some variations on these as<br />
different people have developed their own modifications.</p>
<p>Now for the HOWTO.</p>
<p><b>Requirements</b></p>
<p>Ensure<br />
you have gcc and the kernel headers appropriate to your kernel<br />
installed. Use Synaptic to install libalsa2-devel and libxosd2-devel<br />
(this will pull in libxosd2 and possibly a few other dependencies).</p>
<p>You<br />
will be downloading and compiling two small packages. I like to make a<br />
directory called Sources in my home folder for this, but you may prefer<br />
to use /tmp or somewhere else. For this howto I assume you will be<br />
making the Sources directory and the prompts in the code sections<br />
reflect this.</p>
<p><b>sony-acpi module</b></p>
<p>Open a terminal (konsole). Create the Sources directory and cd into it.</p>

should see &#8216;brightness&nbsp; brightness_default&nbsp; fnkey&#8217; as the output. Now<br />
you need to ensure that the sony_acpi module is loaded on bootup, so<br />
open the Kate text editor to edit /etc/rc.local (or whichever editor<br />
you prefer). You&#8217;ll need root privileges for this but I&#8217;ve found that<br />
if I open kate from a root terminal I get an error shortly after exit.<br />
Therefore, relinquish root privileges and open kate with kdesu.</p>

<p>Important<br />
note: make install copied a binary executable called fsfn into<br />
/usr/local/bin. This is different from the shell script fsfn that goes<br />
into /etc/init.d. Do not copy one to the other.</p>
<p>Open the<br />
PCLinuxOS Control Centre. Go to System and then &#8216;Enable or disable the<br />
system services&#8217;. Look for fsfn and tick the &#8216;On boot&#8217; box if it is not<br />
already ticked. You can start it with the start button but it may not<br />
work properly until you&#8217;ve done a full reboot. And there&#8217;s one last<br />
thing to do.</p>
<p>In order to get a visual feedback &#8211; this is a red<br />
or blue slider bar that appears briefly when you action the Fn key<br />
combinations &#8211; the fsfn daemon has to be reinvoked with an extra option<br />
as KDE starts up. For this part I am indebted to member <b>hankcurt</b> in <a href="http://www.pclinuxos.com/index.php?option=com_smf&amp;Itemid=58&amp;topic=17579.0" target="_blank">this thread</a><br />
for guiding me round the unfamiliar (for me) territory of KDE. Open<br />
your home folder in Konqueror, drop the View menu and tick on &#8216;Show<br />
Hidden Files&#8217;. Now browse to the .kde folder and then the Autostart<br />
folder. In Autostart right-click on a blank area and select &#8216;Create<br />
New&#8217; &gt; &#8216;Link to Application&#8217;. A window will open. Under the General<br />
tab there is a field for the name of the config file you are about to<br />
create. At the moment it shows &#8216;Link to Application&#8217;. You can call it<br />
whatever you like, but I would suggest &#8216;fsfn_daemon&#8217; (no quotes). Now<br />
click on the Application tab. The first three fields are optional; put<br />
whatever you want here or nothing at all. In the Command field, type:</p>

<p>The<br />
next bit is optional. You can press the OK button to save this link now<br />
or after what follows. If you leave the setup like this you will see a<br />
fsfn_daemon startup message with a rotating hour-glass in the panel for<br />
a couple of seconds as KDE starts. This is not a problem but if you<br />
wish to suppress this click on the Advanced Options button (we&#8217;re still<br />
in the Application tab) and untick the &#8216;Enable launch feedback&#8217; box<br />
under &#8216;Startup&#8217;. If you haven&#8217;t done so already click the OK button and<br />
the link will be saved in /home/user/.kde/Autostart.</p>
<p>In theory,<br />
everything should now work if you simply log out and log back in to<br />
restart fsfn (sony_acpi is already in memory). If it doesn&#8217;t, simply<br />
reboot.</p>
<p>Hopefully, the following should now work, all with pretty visual feedback.</p>
<p>Fn + F2 &#8211; mute/unmute<br />Fn + F3 &#8211; volume down<br />Fn + F4 &#8211; volume up<br />Fn + F5 &#8211; brightness down<br />Fn + F6 &#8211; brightness up</p>
<p>For more details you can RTFM (which stands for &#8216;read the fsfn manual&#8217;&nbsp; <img src="http://pclinuxos.com/forum/Smileys/default/wink.gif" alt="Wink" border="0" /><br />
) where you can see how to change the default sound channel for F3 and<br />
F4, how to change the colour of the slider bar and where you can add<br />
your own scripts and commands for getting Fn working with F7, F10, F12.<br />
But for all that you are on your own.</p>
<p>One tip for a<br />
user-friendly way of reading the fsfn man pages &#8211; open a konqueror<br />
window and type &#8216;man:fsfn&#8217; (no quotes) in the address bar. Pretty isn&#8217;t<br />
it? You can do the same for any man page.</p>
<p>A couple of points.</p>
<p><b>Kernel changes</b><br />
If you change the kernel or if an updated kernel is installed you will<br />
need to recompile and reinstall both packages. I guess you could do a<br />
make clean in each of the package directories, but I haven&#8217;t tried<br />
this. What I do is simply to delete the sony_acpi and fsfn folders and<br />
all contents and re-extract the two tarballs which I keep in my Sources<br />
folder. After that make and make install for sony_acpi and ./configure,<br />
make and make install for fsfn, not forgetting to cd into the fedora<br />
directory and copy the different fsfn binary into /etc/init.d. You<br />
don&#8217;t have to redo the other bits.</p>
<p><b>Uninstalling</b> You could<br />
try &#8216;make uninstall&#8217; for both packages. This should work, but if it<br />
doesn&#8217;t you&#8217;ll need to remove the extra line from /etc/rc.local, delete<br />
<br />/lib/modules/<i>kernel_version</i>/kernel/drivers/acpi/sony_acpi.ko, /usr/local/bin/fsfn and&nbsp; /etc/init.d/fsfn, and delete /home/<i>username</i>/.kde/Autostart/fsfn_daemon.<br />
If you want to be really tidy, you&#8217;ll also have to find where the fsfn<br />
man files are and delete them too.</p>
<p>If you have any problems please post back. I&#8217;ll try to help but please bear in mind what I said before &#8211; I&#8217;m not a developer.</p>

<p>패널토론은 XML의 아버지라고 불리는 Tim Bray의 발표에서부터 시작되었습니다. <br />
Tim Bray는 작년 가을에 <a href="http://www.tbray.org/ongoing/When/200x/2004/09/18/WS-Oppo">&#8220;The Loyal WS-Opposition&#8221;</a>이라고 하는 웹서비스 <br />
반대 선언을 자신의 블로그에 올려 화제가 되었었기도 했었죠. 일단 그 내용의 설명으로부터 시작해, 각 패널리스트들이 자신의<br />
의견을 발표하는 형식으로 진행이 되었고, 매우 참고가 되는 정보나 의견이 많았었습니다. 그러나 패널리스트 전원이 <br />
WS-Harmful 파였으므로, 대부분 그쪽 방향으로만 이야기가 진행되었죠. 만약 Microsoft나 IMB의 WS-Evengelists가 있었다면 좀더 다양한 논의가 되었을텐데 라는 아쉬움도 &#8230; </p>
